Ok.. still, the base text is the Vulgate :-)

The only place I have heard this claim for is the last six verses of Revelation, where the
claim is made for the Erasmus Textus Receptus (with the idea that the Erasmus text
was carried forward to Stephanus and Bezae, the texts mostly used by the KJB translators).
However, Hoskier and others have disputed this, as in the article by Thomas Holland.

Revelation 22:19 -"book of life" and the last six verses of Revelation 22
There are places where the Vulgate and Old Latin give support to a minority reading
in the Greek Byzantine line, but that would not constitute
"translate the Latin instead of the Greek".
So I think the discussion is limited to the ending of Revelation.
