[B-Greek] Caution re: GINOMAI: Middle or Passive in Tit 3:7?

Two points:
(1) this appears to be an on-list response to an off-list question
and one that is as much personal correspondence as concerns the
subject-matter of the thread referenced in the subject-header; let's
keep personal communications off-list, please. Also, the list's
netiquette in our FAQ frowns on citing off-list correspondence on
messages to the list without first obtaining the permission of the
original sender.
(2) If this thread is to continue, it ought to focus strictly upon
how the Greek text itself is to be understood as a Greek text, NOT
upon theological or broader literary-critical issues as to how they
influence our preferences regarding how the Greek text is to be
understood as Greek text. That line had already been crossed to some
extent in some earlier messages; if the thread is to be prolonged at
all, let's stay out of that area, please.
