[B-Greek] Rom. 1:17

Harold,
An interesting parallel. The construction is of the type of the Latin "manus
manum lavat" (hand washes hand), what means that one hand is washing *the
other*.
So in Psalm 84 people, being on pelgrimage, are going from one "strength" to
another. And the explanation you are giving is mine too.
In Rom 1: 17 Paul is writing about TO EUAGGELION (verse 16). That word has
often the meaning "telling* the gospel".
EN AUTWi (verse 17) is then "in the proclamation of the gospel". This
interpretation is corroborated by the use of APOKALUPTETAI: there is a
revelation of the possibilities of the gospel to those who do not believe.
EK PISTEWS EIS PISTIN will be in this connection: from the PISTIS of the
believer who is telling the gospel to (taken with final force) the PISTIS of
the person who has to become a Christian. So "from one belief to another".

> The Greek OT uses the same prepositions EIS and EK that Paul uses.
