Thank You for your reply. What is BDAG? I've heard of Brown, Drivers, and Briggs and Thayers or Arndt and Gingrich but I do not know of BDAG. Also, what is the best greek-english concordance for the LXX? My Brenton's should arrive before the end of the month. I have also purchased a Hebrew-Greek-Interlinear Bible from Amazon that should be a help as well. I already have a Greek parsing book that tells me the case and the mood of each Greek word. Do I have that right? Case, and mood? And I will hopefully one day be able to contribute, here!
I have heard (from the Jehovah Witnesses) that I Cor 15 speaks of a spiritual resurrection and not a physical one. They claim the greek word for "change" regarding the body in I Cor 15:51 refers to a "trade" of a physical body for a resurrection body. They claim it is a verb of mercantile exchange, as found in the LXX. How many times does this verb appear in the LXX? How many times does it refer to "trading"? I have become interested in learning more about the JW's. They have a unique slant on John 1:1 and a few other verses in the NT.
How does one search the archives for a particular subject that may have already been discussed?
Thank You All Once Again,
David M
