Barry,

My biased answer is to get a Mac and be done with Microsoft, but that
doesn't help you right now :-) In doing Greek Unicode webpages, I found
that IE for Windows defaulted to the first Greek font it could find
when it determined characters were in the Greek Unicode range. This
font did not include characters for the diacritical marks, which
because they aren't in modern Greek, are in another, less-commonly used
range. The solution I found was to use a style sheet to specify a Greek
font for the text that I knew had the characters. Using IE, you can
create a custom stylesheet (email me off-list for further details). I'm
not totally sure how you'd do that in OE, since I don't use it. I do
know that firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) chooses
the right font (at least recent versions did). You could try another
email client (Thunderbird perhaps
http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/).
