JJ Collins dates them anywhere from the 2nd cent BCE to the 7th CE.
Evidently they underwent a LOT of editing and redacting, probably in the
later stages at Christian hands. It seems not too far fetched to me
that a redactor familiar with Paul would make use of the word. But, I
confess, that is speculative.

Unless the copyist were Christian at a later stage of transmission. But
again, there's no way to know. The one thing we do know, and I would
say with absolute certainty, is that Paul wrote 1 Cor. in the mid 50's.
His use, then, is the first firmly attested.

best,

Jim
