Ted, I'm assuming that you DO recollect that we had a thread on this  
earlier in the year?

You might do well to look at the whole section of Louw & Nida 88:

     88 Moral and Ethical Qualities and Related Behavior

and especially

     L’ Sin, Wrongdoing, Guilt (88.289–88.318)

You'll find hAMARTIA and PARAPTWMA there along with others and the  
sorts of distinctions that you're asking about.
