Upon just a little reflection it occurred to me that the answer to my
question is pretty simple. KAI would suffice to join AUTON to any
further object or objects, i.e., EKDECOMAI AUTON KAI TOUS AUTOUS. This
would seem to be the most straightforward way of expressing this idea.
So, in light of this, is it more natural to construe META TWN ADELFWN
with EKDECOMAI, so that the idea is that Paul and the brothers are
awaiting Timothy?
