Alex,

I realise this is an old subject, but I am very interested in occurences
of GAR that are not the usual explicative "for" but those that are more
conclusive and have the sense of "then" or "as the case stands".

In particular I am interested in occurences that follow a conditional
construction, such as "if".

The most interesting example of this is in a version of 1 Cor 8:10 -11
(Tischendorf, and Westcott & Horts versions of GNT)

Do you know of any other controversial occurences of GAR where it is
conclusive rather than explicative?

I am no expert in Greek but am interested in this particular question. I
intend to get to a copy of Denistone as soon as I can.
