I would like to say thank you to all of you who took the time to respond to
my question concerning Mark 1:1. I had never considered that the subject and
verb could be "understood." "This is" now that is interesting.
You will have to excuse the second question. I was ramblings of old wanna be
mystic who never had a mystical experience in his life. People, like myself,
are always tending to read into things deeper meanings than is there. We
have never learn to first take the writing at face value. Often, though I do not
want to believe, the writer meant just what he wrote and nothing else.:) I
am still trying to learn that but I am afraid it might be too late to teach old
dogs new tricks.
