Dear B-Greekers,

In as much as the central element of this passage is very controversial, i.e. hO
KATEXOV/WN, my question is not on that subject (too theological), but on your
thoughts as to the relevance of the chiastic structure and the use of the
inclusio,
in verses 2:2 & 15, DIA PNEUMATOS NHTE DIA LOGOU MHTE DI' EPISTOLHS hWS DI'
hHMWN, ...TAS PARADOSEIS hAS EDIDACHTHHTE EITE DIA LOGOU EITE DI' EPISTOLHS
hHMWN, to indicate a contrast between those "perishing"
(salvation/deliverance-temporal, not salvation-eternal EIS TO SWTHHNAI AUTOUS)
for those who follow the "man of lawlessness" versus "deliverance"
(salvation-temporal-EIS SWTHRIAN, not salvation-eternal).

En Xristw,

Rev. Bryant J. Williams III
