Frequently EQNOS does designate the gentiles (GoYiM); however, this is
not always the case.  Cf. Acts 10.22

hOI DE EIPAN, KORNHLIOS hEKATONTARXHS, ANHR DIKAIOS KAI FOBOUMENOS TON
QEON, MARTUROUMENOS TE hUPO hOLOU *** TOU EQNOUS TWN IOUDAIWN *** . . .

where it designates that Jewish nation specifically.  I suspect that in
this case (Mt 25.32) the Jews as well as the gentiles are included.
