I would not rush out to purchase either of these. While TDNT is  
occasionably useful if you are willing to sift out tons of chaf to  
find a little wheat, NIDNTT is a book intended for people who read  
English bibles. Danker's Lexicon (3rd ed.) is essential but you can  
safely ignore all the theological/exegeical dictionaries (EDNT,  
Spicq, TDNT, NIDNTT ...) which without execption are constructed on a  
foundation of questionable semantic theory.
