I notice that HUPARCHO literally means "UNDER-ORIGINATES" (Hupo-under,
archo-originates) Can you please tell me how "under-originates" connotates
possesion. Does this word indicate that that which originates under
something else is in possesion of its qualities or something? How does
"under-originate" connotate possesion? I understand that etymology does not
exclusively define word meanings but it obviously effects them.
Thanks
Greg Coupe
