[B-Greek] Beginners on B-Greek? (was "Re: Mark 5:7")

A 2 month old baby would probably understand Greek as
much as I currently do. (Thus, I was hoping to lurk
a LOT longer! :-))
I joined B-Greek motivated by a very strong desire to
understand one scripture: Acts 13:2 "While they were
worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,
"Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to
which I have called them."" (NIV)
Though this scripture is important in the
Trinitarian/Anti-Trinitarian debate, in keeping with
Joshua 5:13-14, I'm neither. ("Now when Joshua was
near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in
front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua
went up to him and asked, "Are you for us or for our
enemies?" 14 "Neither," he replied, "but as commander
of the army of the LORD I have now come."")
My interest in studying the scripture is in getting at
the truth as to whether the scripture represents a
personification of the Holy Spirit's speaking or
whether it's literal.
Though I'm truly happy to know the group's here, I'm
now retreating to official lurker status for a few
months. :-)
Thanks,
Vincent Wright
