N-A 21 (in fact, all N-A's below 27) doesn't exist except in used bookstores and pastors' old
libraries. N-A 26 marked a departure from earlier editions in terms of improved apparatus and
textual choices, as I understand it (Introduction to N-A 26, p. 41*).

The text of N-A 26, N-A 27, and UBS 3, 3rd Corrected, and 4 are identical. (The UBS text is
paragraphed and punctuated differently, though).

Since the NASB was updated in 1995, I assume the latest NASB is based on N-A 26/27,
rather than on N-A 21 or whatever the 1963(?) NASB was likely based on.

If you're wanting an N-A, then N-A 27 is your only choice; what you'll choose, then, is format:
i.e., Greek text and apparatus; diglot with English on facing page; edition with Newman Greek-
English dictionary; NET Bible diglot edition; etc. Do some searching; there are often cheaper
sources than the American Bible Society - e.g., Wal-Mart is the cheapest source for the UBS4
with Greek-English dictionary, because here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we can order it
online, and choose delivery for pickup at a local store, and Wal-Mart then waives the shipping
charge (but maybe there is still a sales tax).
