I see that LEH lists GNWSTON as GNWSTOS/H/ON, verbal adjective of  
GINWSKW, but gives "knowledge" as a sense for GNWSTON in Gen 1:9; it  
is curious, as the MT has only the infinitive of the verb for "see";  
my own inclination would be to understand EIDENAI GNWSTON as  
something like "insightful knowing (of good and evil}." Is the  
Genesis volume of the new LXX translation (NETS) ready yet?

This is quite clearly a question for Al Pietersma.
