I prefer the DEKA+ARIQMOS forms: 

DEKATREIS
DEKATRIA
And the like for DEKATESSARES/-RA, DEKAPENTE, KTL.

Don't know about Smyth but Josephus is happy: 
Cf. IWSHPOS, POLEMOU 3.67, 154; 
 IWSHPOS, ARXAIOLOGIAS 20.148, 228, 229, 230, 231.
