You may as well ignore my suggestion of cc'ing James Tucker with any
response to this query; I discovered immediately that he's adopted
one of these devices of growing popularity for discouraging spam: one
must beg a robot and offer reasons why one ought to be on the private
in-list of the party in question. I find this only slightly less
offensive than talking to someone with a "call waiting" phone line
who drops you and tells you to wait until the more important call has
been concluded and the party you're talking to has time to get back
to you.
