[B-Greek] DO NOT RESPOND: "Dead Sea Semitic Petros=Firstborn, not Kepha"

The argumentative message indicated in the subject-header above has,
at best, tangential bearing on the Greek text of the NT. The matter
has been discussed previously on B-Greek, often raised by Mr.
Persson, most recently in a divisive thread in September of 2003; any
who are interested can check the archives of that month. In my
judgment the matter has been raised again for purposes having more to
do with "apologetics" than illumination of the Greek text of the NT.
I am asking list-members not to respond to this message and to engage
Mr. Persson, should they wish to discuss the matter, privately off-list.
