[B-Greek] The best starting place?

After two and a half years of good college-level Koine, plus an independent
study course in which I translated the Gospel of John, I felt that I could
pick up and read anything in the New Testament without feeling intimidated.

Of course, I found (and still find!) that I learned something new just about
every time I read another text--but I didn't have the disincentive of
frustration anymore, and I read the GNT in all my studies of the New
Testament from then on.

The gem for me after the first year was Metzger's Lexical Aids for Students
of New Testament Greek.

Best Wishes,
Webb Mealy
