I'm not so sure I would jump to such a conclusion.  In fact, who can 
sight read is doubtless a larger number than simply two on a list of 
what now, 1400 or so?

And "completely unaided"?  Do you mean, without looking up a word now 
and again in the dictionary?  I would venture a guess that even the 
great Adolph Schlatter used a dictionary and he had the GNT memorized.

But, I would suggest, "unaided" by such things as interlinears and the 
like- the answer would be, again, quite a few more than just two!
