How about the fact that the text doesn't read as you have transcribed it? It actually reads

SUN AUTWi FANERWQHSESQE EN DOCHi

Since this is a 2nd pl verb, it cannot read "your lives will appear" which would require a 3rd pl verb. However, even there it could not be "your lives" since hH ZWH is singular so it must be "your life."

Col. 3:2

APEQANETE GAR,

KAI hH ZWH hUMWN KEKRUPTAI SUN TWi CRISTWi EN TWi QEWi.

hOTAN hO CRISTOS FANERWQHi,

hH ZWH hUMWN,

TOTE KAI hUMEIS SUN AUTWi FANERWQHSETAI EN DOXHi

Reacting to hH ZWH hUMWN similarly to Lattimore, I'm inclined to render this
as

Because you've died, and your lives are hidden with Christ in God. When
Christ appears, your lives will appear too. Then you'll be revealed with him
in glory.

Does anybody have grammatical or other evidence that rules out this reading
(e.g. unanimity among ancient versions that it means "Christ, who is your
life")?
