Hi Nicholas,

I'm not sure there's any difference between the two ways of reading the 
list.  After all, the point, as you rightly note, is that Jesus is son 
of God.  Along with everyone else in the list and everyone else born of 
Adam.

The Greek text doesn't address the supposed ambiguity between the two 
readings that you raise because no such ambiguity really exists.
