It seems to me that the hINA clause in Jn. 10:38 with an aorist subjunctive
plus a present subjunctive of the same root, does the work of a perfect
subjunctive; however, there is no perfect subjunctive, except for oida (as Dr.
Conrad reminded me) which is used as a present in the NT. It may be expressed
with the periphrastic construction "of which a few examples remain" (ATR
360). I cannot recall ever reading a periphrastic perfect subjunctive
following hINA. Perhaps someone could point out an example to me if you find it.
