Let's get the fuller context: GUNH DEDETAI EF hOSON CRONON ZHi hO  
ANHR AUTHS; EAN DE KOIMHQHi hO ANHR, ELEUQERA ESTIN hW QELEI  
GAMHQHNAI MONON EN KURIWi

In this instance the phrase MONON EN KURIWi must surely be adverbial:  
there's no noun or substantive to which it is attached, even if you  
read hWi QELEI as "to the man of her chooosing." I think that the  
phrase must be understood as qualifying GAMHQHNAI (which, by the way,  
is another instance of the -QH- "passive" form assuming the semantic  
force of the older middle GAMEISQAI.
