Dear Sir :

Philo quoted Proverbs 8:22 in "De Ebrietate" 8 as:

hO QEOS EKTHSATO ME PRWTISTHN TWN EAUTOU ERGWN,
KAI PRO TOU AIWNOS EQELIWSE ME

Here we notice that, while the first line varies from LXX, the second
drawn directly from LXX.
My question is about the realtion of KTAOMAI and KTISIS, perhaps Philo
thought that these were synonymous.

For example some people translate Psalm 139:13 in the LXX as "For thou
hast possessed (KTAOMAI) my reins". However, i think in this text KTAOMAI
means produce rather than posses.

Best Regards
Octavio
