KAI POIEI PANTAS, TOUS MIKROUS KAI TOUS MEGALOUS, KAI TOUS PLOUSIOUS KAI
TOUS PTWCOUS, KAI TOUS ELEUQEROUS KAI TOUS DOULOUS, hINA DWSIN AUTOIS
XARAGMA EPI THS CEIROS AUTWN THS DEXIAS H EPI TO METWPON AUTWN,
This sentence seems strange to me. The first part says that he makes them
"something" but it does not say what he makes them. The different Bible
translations make the part after hINA complete that thought but they do that
by changing the subjunctive to an infinitive. That leaves the part before
the hINA clause an incomplete sentence.
I remember reading in B-Greek that hINA with a subjunctive was in the
proccess of changing (I suspect into infinitive) but I couln't find it in
the archives. Is that what I am dealing with here?
Thank you.
Bert de Haan.
