Wallace _Greek_Grammar_Beyond_the_Basics_ has a discussion of the
commands and prohibitions using the aorist / present tenses. While he
gives examples of the prohibition as indicating "do not start" in the
aorist as opposed to "stop doing" in the present, I would presume that
this is also applicable to commands -- "start rendering justice to the
orphan . . ." as opposed to "continue rendering justice to the orphan . .
."
