I'm not sure you've cited Machen correctly (I no longer have a copy
of the
textbook) -- but I can assure you that there's no differentiation in
form between
PLHROUSQE indicative present or imperative present 2 pl., nor is
there any
differentiation between the middle and passive: the for PLHROUSQE can be
either middle or passive in sense, either indicative or imperative in
mood. In
Eph 5:18 however it is almost surely imperative as the immediately
preceding
MH MEQUSKESQE is imperative (the form itself could be indicative but the
MH would not be used with an indicative).
I might add that you won't find the form DHLOESQE (or PLHROESQE
either) in either classical Attic or in NT Koine: that's an
uncontracted form
of an omega contract verb; the textbook prints it only to show what
vowel
elements were contracted to produce DHLOUSQE (or PLHROUSQE).
