[B-Greek] Would "legitimate" be a better translation of DIKAIOS?

Is LEGITIMATE an optional translation of "DIKAIOS" instead of just and
righteous? Why? Because both legitimate and DIKAIOS have origins
that relate to legality. Second, the modern use of legitimate more
strongly communicates the idea of status, which is important in the
biblical use of DIKAIOS. And finally legitimate is one word in
English which carries a range of meaning analogous to the one word in
Greek. By not breaking the one word DIKAIOS up into several English
words it might be easier to see the subtleties taught about the
righteous or the just, as well as the over all importance of the
legitimate, as a central theme in Gods great work.
