[B-Greek] What NT Bible do you recommend for a newcomer?

As far as a Hebrew text is concerned, the standard is BHS (Biblia 
Hebraica Stuttgartensia).  It's available in paperback-

I don't know what editions you have - but BHS is the scholarly standard 
and others are, frankly, not quite so good (except for BHQ- but it's 
just in process).

And, concerning Greek-

This is the one to get:

Again, it is the standard text.

If you want a bible which contains BHS for the OT and NA-27 for the New, 
then you will want to invest in this:

Its kind of pricey- and maybe someone on list has a used copy they might 
part with.  But it really is excellent to have the Hebrew OT and the 
Greek NT under one cover.
