[B-Greek] What NT Bible do you recommend for a newcomer?

I recently bought the Reader's GNT from Amazon for about 18.00. I like it, but I wish they had used another, or maybe a larger font. I also like the NET Bible Diglot which I ordered from www.bible.org (I think) which has Greek on one page and English on the facing page as well as some useful critical comments at the bottom. I forget what I paid, but it was not expensive.

I Recommend the "Reader's Greek New Testament" highly.
Instead of the textual critical apparatus, it footnotes all the words on
any given page that occurs less than 30 times in the NT.
I tell our Greek I and II students they don't need the textual apparatus
until they can sight read a given book. We do require our Second year
student's to own the latest UBS edition.
The Reader's Greek New Testament is available for around $25.00. I
would recommend it highly.

I really like Zondervan's "The Greek New Testament, UBS with NRSV &
NIV". ISBN 0-31--41400-8
It is VERY readable and in nice three columns. I don't know if it's
still available.
I also would recommend against an inter-linear, and especially the text
mentioned previously.

Any recommendations for a Greek-English parallel New Testament? Not an
interlinear but rather one with Greek in one column, English in the
other.

Since you want both the Greek and the Hebrew, I would suggest that you
get
the _Biblia Sacra Utriusque Testamenti_. You can expect, however, to
spend
considerably more than the $40.00 you mentioned. Here's the best price
I
found at the moment.

Hi there...
My son is a homeschooled high school senior who
is just starting to study the ancient biblical
versions of the Bible. He is interested in both
the Old Testament Hebrew and the New Testament
Greek.
Unfortunately, our search for a Bible in those
languages is confusing. A search on amazon.com
yields lots of different choices, but we don't
know which one would be best. I'd like to find
something affordable (I'm thinking $40).
I'm hoping that you might have a recommendation
for a Bible that has both languages or one that
is the New Testament Greek by itself (we have
been able to find lots of versions of the Old
Testament in Hebrew so that is not a problem).
If you were just starting out and had zero
knowledge of ancient Greek, which NT Bible would
you get?
Thanks very much for your help.

P.S. He'd also love to connect with other local
scholars who are studying this material.
