Nancy, check out Randall Buth's Koine Greek and Biblical Hebrew
courses at www.biblicalulpan.org. Having studied both Greek and
Hebrew at the graduate level I wish I would have known about these
courses then. They are perfect for any child who is old enough to
know why he would want to learn Greek and Hebrew in the first place.
Check it out . . . It is language learning that makes a lot of sense.
The courses would be perfect for the self-learning situation. It may
seem a little pricey because of all the audio CDs but it is worth
every penny. I am in the midst of re-learning Koine Greek and feel
like I am learning it for the first time. I just ordered the Hebrew
material yesterday.
