We are still undecided as to how to approach Greek for our high school son, but you've given us a lot of food for thought. Our son is 15 (soon to be 16), and will be in 11th grade next school year. He has been homeschooled all of his academic "career". He has had two years of high school Latin, and I've been told that this will be a plus for him when he is studying Greek. He is a very bright young man, and ministry-minded, too. I expect he will eventually go on to seminary, probably at New Orleans (we are Southern Baptist and that's where his dad went), where I'm sure he will encounter Greek courses, probably Machen.

For now, though, we are contemplating all the choices you have given us, and we deeply appreciate the recommendations and advice.

  Many blessings to you --
  Sandy Cliett
