My point was that the words PANTES ANQRWPOUS standing alone could be
legitimately translated "all kinds of people" regardless of Paul's intended meaning
in 1 Tim. 2:4, and verse 1 may be a good example according to ATR. As you
know, Paul progresses from the general to the specific contextually. I might
just throw in Acts 10:12 as a better example. Personally, I see no
'compelling' reason to abandon BGAD's classification .
