DOUNAI THN YUCHN AUTOU LUTRON ANTI POLLWN (Matt. 20:28 and Mk 10:45)
more or less exactly parallels
DOUS hEAUTON ANTILUTRON hUPER PANTWN (1 Tim. 2:6)
ANTI doesn't mean "instead of": it means "in exchange for". Am I missing
something obvious here?
