[B-Greek] EX ERGWN NOMOU (Gal. 3:2)

David, I suppose that Gal. 3:5 holds a an interpretive key for the meaning
of ERGWN, wherein two types of works are contrasted ENERGWN DUNAMEIS and
ERGON NOMOU. It appears to me that Paul is developing the argument to make a
specific point in verse 21 that the law did not have life giving ability
(DUNAMENOS ZWOPOIHSAI). Thus it appears that life giving works are in
contrast to legal works or that which is produced by a divine activity (A.T.
Robertson's definition of ENERGWN DUNAMEIS- God's activity) is in contrast
to human ability.
