I neglected to mention that the NET translation takes TELEIWS with NHFONTES.

Subject: [B-Greek] NHFONTES TELEIWS ELPISATE (1 Pet. 1:13)
Peter says,
NHFONTES TELEIWS ELPISATE (1 Pet. 1:13).
I see that WH and NEB like the adverb with NHFONTES, but they're in a small
minority. I have the sense that the adverb goes more naturally with the
imperative than with the participle, but is there a principle of Greek
grammar or style that helps me decide with any confidence?
