My undergrad school had as its first year class a four day week with two hours a day dedicated to Greek.
Having said that, I think that it is just as important to consider how much time is going to be spent on studying a text book, reading from the Greek, discussing how an understanding of the Greek text relates to your theology, and interactive studies. By interactive I include translation, question answer sessions in Greek, and following directions in the language.
I would like to emphasize the importance of spending some time helping the student relate their Greek studies to interpretation because I have found too many seminary students graduate without understanding why they ever bothered to learn the language.
Sincerely,
Michael Abernathy
