[B-Greek] Alford on Acts 7:59

I wouldn't trust any OCR program for a text in any language not in a Latin font. I have a group of PDFs comprising Herman Gunkel's _Schöpfung und Chaos in Urzeit und Endzeit …_ which I was considering translating. Unfortunately, the book was originally in fraktur (the older German style of font). The OCR program by which the PDF was made was so bad in many places that it was nearly impossible to reconstruct the original text so that I could translate it. That having been said, I understand that there is a certain amount of training of the program which is necessary before it will work properly. Perhaps you need to take your OCR program to "obedience school" like a dog. :-)
BTW: Fortunately someone else translated the book, and Eerdman's published it so I was able to obtain it from our friendly bookseller, Eisenbraun's.

You are right, George. Thank you. I had scanned and OCR'd Alford,
and had to type in letters for the Grk parts. I mis-read Theon as
Theou. (I'm not trained in Grk., as I suppose is obvious)
I also had a problem that ur post didn't wordwrap on my reader
program.
BTW, wonder if anyone knows of an affordable OCR software that will
handle Grk?
Appreciate ur patience and very interesting reply.
