[B-Greek] OG Daniel verse translation

John,
Indeed, Tim translated the Goettingen but he did NOT leave out [KAI
THN ARXHN]. The phrase in brackets was part of Ziegler's text (1954)
but placed within square bracket because Ziegler thought it to be of
questionable originality. Munnich (1999) went one step farther and
omitted the phrase altogether. As a result the latest critical
edition———the one you indicated you bought———does not have [KAI THN
ARXHN] at all——except in the apparatus.
Whether Ziegler was correct in doubting its originality or whether
Munnich was correct in dropping it altogether from his lemma may, of
course, be questioned———but that is quite a different issue. Note,
moreover, that more is involved than the three words you cite.
