First, I would point out that PANTA is both accusative and nominative, since it is in fact neuter.
Second, I would point out that neuter plural nominatives take singular verbs (since often neuter plurals are understood as collective nouns). This is very common in the GNT.
Third, while QEOS can be understood (grammatically) as the subject, many commentators argue for an implied PNEUMA on the grounds that the entire section (8:25-27) is focused on the Holy Spirit. Personally, I find this last unconvincing and I find QEOS unlikely to be the implied subject since it stands as object in the previous clause.
Fourth, take a look at the B-Greek archives since this discussion has been had before.
