[B-Greek] Olive oil 'liquid gold'

Hi

I heard from a friend of mine a rumour that olive oil is refered to in the
Greek corpus as "liquid gold" going as far back as Homer. Is anyone aware
of any actual examples of this? I would be especially interested in an
instance where CRUSOS without a modifier means 'olive oil' but would
appreciate any citations at all.

I am snooping around the semantic domains of CRUSOS and its synonyms.

Thanks,

James Bowick
