It looks like a future of συγκεντέω [SUGKENTEW]. I would have expected a future passive since στερεωθήσεται [STEREWQHSETAI] is fut pass, but it is missing the -θή- [-QH-]. It thus appears to change the meaning from "his might shall be made firm …" to "his might shall pierce at once …"

συγκεντέω [SUGKENTEW], pierce together, stab at once, Hdt.3.77, Plb.4.22.11, Lxx2Ma.12.23:—Pass., ἔμελλε συγκεντηθήσεσθαι [EMELLE SUGKENTHQHSESQAI] Hdt.6.29; cf. συνακοντίζω [SUNADONTIZW].

Subject: [B-Greek] SUNKENTHSEI

This word is found in the Old Greek manuscript 967 of Daniel in 8:24. I
assume that this comes from KENTEW. The context is this: KAI
SUNKENTHSEI TH ISCUI EAUTOU. Does anyone have any imput on this? Thank
you!
