CK Barrett went into print just ahead of the Qumran discoveries, which
did impinge on Johannine studies more than he appreciated at the time.

Consult also JAT Robinson, /Twelve NT Studies/; AM Hunter; and M Black
on John. But for a commentary on the Greek text, IMHO you still can't
do better than consult BF Westcott. He published two commentaries on
John - one on the Greek text, and another on the English text (RV).
