[B-Greek] Summers, Funk or Mounce

George,

Having taught out of Crosby and Schaeffer, I would say it isn't what he
is looking for. It assumes a good bit about the student (such as Latin!)
and some of the sentences are, well, convoluted.

David,
You might want to look at this, at least as a reference:
"Mastering New Testament Greek CD-ROM for Windows: An Interactive Guide
for Beginners"
by Ted Hildebrandt
Baker Academic, 2003
English
CD-ROM
ISBN: 0-8010-2759-4
ISBN13: 978-0-8010-2759-8
List Price: $49.99
Your Price: $29.99

Otherwise, there are a good number of first year grammars available, I
suggested to my daughter that she use Mounce.

If you were to go the route of classical Greek, I would suggest the JACT
series Reading Greek, NOT Crosby & Schaeffer or Chase & Phillips (taught
out of that one, too).

HTH,
James
