[B-Greek] Any suggestions for refreshing German reading knowledge?

When I had to prepare for the language exam in grad school I bought an anthology of essays / short stories and sat down and read. I didn't bother to look up a lot of words unless it really seemed crucial to understanding the text. It worked. There's nothing like reading lots of a language to improve your skills.

Subject: [B-Greek] Any suggestions for refreshing German reading knowledge?

Apologies for an off-topic (but certainly of-interest) post:

I need to refresh my German. In my Ph.D. work, I took JUST enough to pass
the language exam, and then promptly forgot every bit of it. Now I need it
again.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how a busy professor can relearn /
refresh his reading knowledge of the language? I've looked at
conversational German packages, etc., but nothing seems quite to fit the
bill.

"It is often said that the poor want justice while the rich want peace. We
now have a situation where two-thirds of the world wants debt relief and
one-third wants sex. That is, I think, a tell-tale sign that something is
wrong at a deep structural level."
