[B-Greek] Any suggestions for refreshing German readingknowledge?

In addition to doing a lot of reading, I've also found it very helpful to
listen to foreign public radio programs via the internet when I'm doing
things that don't require a lot of concentration. Deutsche Welle has great
programming, and, for other languages, so do BBC, Radio France, Telemadrid,
and Radio Notre Dame. Deutsche Welle also has a version of the news in which
the readers speak slowly, but I don't recommend that. Knowing how a language
sounds with its natural rhythms and phrasings seems to make reading easier,
especially when dealing with long, convoluted sentences.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a Koine Greek station yet. :)

When I had to prepare for the language exam in grad school I bought an
anthology of essays / short stories and sat down and read. I didn't bother
to look up a lot of words unless it really seemed crucial to understanding
the text. It worked. There's nothing like reading lots of a language to
improve your skills.

Apologies for an off-topic (but certainly of-interest) post:

I need to refresh my German. In my Ph.D. work, I took JUST enough to pass
the language exam, and then promptly forgot every bit of it. Now I need it
again.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how a busy professor can relearn /
refresh his reading knowledge of the language? I've looked at
conversational German packages, etc., but nothing seems quite to fit the
bill.
