Glad you have spotted it..

The word (even) for KAI is put in there while I am clarifying this
paragraph (17:3).

I like to see the whole paragraph  as a literary insertio in the
middle of Jesus'  intercessory prayer (Jn 17:1-26). Even if this
paragraph belongs to Jesus' own saying (as most translations do), the
last phrase  IHSOUN CRISTON is properly to be taken as an editorial
comment by G-John.  This is a well developed post-Easter confessional
statement and appears elsewhere only in the prologue (1:17).  Placing
this phrase in Jesus' mouth would be strange indeed. Cf. In the
epilogue 20:31 '(this very) Jesus is Christ'.

I wanted to bring a subtle shift in gear so to speak (as if from
John's voice). If the sense rather than nuance is altered, please let
me know how.
